Keeping the boxes you already have and changing everything you can see: doors, drawer fronts, finish and hardware. When the carcasses are sound it changes a kitchen for a fraction of a replacement.
Not every kitchen needs new cabinets. In North Rustico, a homeowner wanted a fresh, updated kitchen without replacing the cabinets she loved and had an emotional connection to. We refinished the existing cabinets and paired them with new countertops, backsplash and flooring, and the kitchen felt brand new. More on that job.
Before and after: a budget-friendly kitchen cabinet makeover in Charlottetown, giving the space a fresh, updated look without the cost of a full replacement.
